Each wall sculpture begins with a face I've sculpted by hand.
From that original sculpture, I create a mold that allows me to carefully handcraft each piece in polymer clay before bringing it to life with layers of soft pastel, acrylic paint, and colored pencil.
The painting process is my favorite part. It's where each face slowly begins to develop its own personality. Every blush, freckle, shadow, and tiny detail is added by hand, making no two sculptures exactly alike. Those small differences are what make each one truly unique.
